Open systems

The open system model helps an organization to access its external environment and recognize the problems so that the organization could come out with certain strategic plans to influence the environment in more desired directions (Waddell, Cummings and Worley, 2007). By adopting this model, The Golden Dragon Group will have a clear direction about how to carry out the revitalization plan.

The open systems model consists of three related parts which are Inputs, Transformations and Outputs. Inputs consist of all the resources including human and other resources coming into the systems which are acquired from the external environment of the organizations. Transformation is the process of transforming the inputs into outputs. Outputs are the results of the converted inputs through the systems and went out to the environment (Cummings and Worley, 2008)
