As we walked up the stairs of the La Salle Building, I could remember it was kind of disturbing because we took the wrong way going there and instead we used the stairs near the chapel in 2nd floor instead and once we reached the 3rd floor we saw a door that lead to a plight of stairs that lead to pitch darkness. It was really creepy. But after looking in 3rd floor we saw the arrows that would eventually lead us to the fixe exit plight of stairs which turned out to be the way that DLSU provided for us to go to the fourth floor. As we were climbing the stairs, we talked about what it would like. We kind of already had an idea of what to expect because of rumors surrounding the fourth floor of LS. As consensus, we all expected it to be different from fully furnished.

Once we reached the fourth floor, we were amazed to be honest that it was literally full of individual rooms for the brothers and it was completely furnished. The most memorable thing I could remember was probably the garden outside that faces the Henry Sy Building, with its stone paths and wooden flooring and plants, it was really incredible to see. I did not see that coming at all. We also noticed the Brothers’ new library. It had several computers but has yet to be filled up with books. As we were about to leave and take the lift, we saw another garden this time facing CSB, they prepared food and drinks for each student to enjoy.

Overall the experience was definitely fun as we got to see how the Brother’s lived and their homes. It was an incredible experience and I’m glad that before I got to graduate that I had the opportunity to see it firsthand.
