Sales Management Product

If a product meets a person’s needs, a person will buy it. For instance, my ultimate consumer _ will consider purchasing a product known as Kombucha, since it meets her healthy lifestyle needs. I’ll use the direct selling method, which is selling directly to _ away from any fixed retail location. I have learned by taking personal selling 3515 and consumer behavior 3505 there are three main components in persuading prospects. The first component is the source, which would be I. I’d have to show I’m credible by demonstrating how much knowledge I know about Kombucha. Not only do I need to demonstrate I am a credible source, but I also need _ to like me. Likability can be gained through similarities _ and I may have. I’d say _and I have a few common things starting with school and age. The second component is the prospect, _. _ is a health conscious individual, whom I think would enjoy a healthy drink such as Kombucha. Lastly, the message is my argument being used to persuade _ to buy Kombucha. I will get _attention by directing her attention to the health benefits of the product. I will need to get _ attention and inform her with as much knowledge as possible since it will be her first time purchasing Kombucha.

As I have learned this semester decision making in whether to purchase a product or not is a psychological action. The product I have decided to sell is, Kombucha and in order to understand how _ will make her decision to purchase, I will need to look at the cognitive part of the buying process, which are in the internal influences of motivation, perception, learning, personality and attitude and see how these affect the purchasing process.
