Knowing the Life we Life

Kurt Vonnegut describes Billy Pilgrim as been objective yet he is confused by the subjectivity that happened all around him not knowing what to believe. In “Deciderization 2007-A Special Report,” by David F. Wallace he said “Part of our emergency is that it’s so temping to do this sort of thing now, to retreat to narrow arrogance, pre-formed positions, rigid filters, and he ‘moral clarity’ of the immature. The alternative is dealing with massive, high-entropy amounts of info and ambiguity and conflict and flux; it’s continually discovering new areas of personal ignorance and delusion”, meaning there are two kinds of different ideas in the world, the person with high entropy is constantly in high disorder but yet if his objective he can change this to not been disorganized compared to pre-formed positions where the ignorance attitude does not change affecting his point of view to others. Here Billy develops a narrow arrogance of accepting what is not real when having flashbacks about his past. Secondly, his losses the value of life, the government wanted power because they are subjective to the pre-formed positions that they are to be dominant. Lastly, Billy simply following or accepting the Tralfamadorians idea that there is no free will, been unaware of what is presented to him. Many times people get confused finding the difference when they are been subjective making them leave their objectivity.

Billy travels back and forth in time that he believes that he is at two places at once. When he was at war he would flash forward having two kids and then flashbacks and seeing everything including when he was born.
