Football American Skit (Story)

On a rainy Saturday night, two teams are neck and neck for the championship title. Ohio State and Alabama, nineteen Ohio State and fourteen Alabama. With twelve seconds left in overtime, the tension is high as the whole game is on the line for the Alabama Crimson Tide. Justin, the star linebacker and NFL bound senior, takes the field again where the ball is on the two yard line. It is fourth and goal. As the high-powered Ohio State offense hustles up to the line of scrimmage, Justin tiptoes his way to the line, showing a blitz. Staring at the big lineman straight in the eyes, the quarterback sounds the cadence and the ball snaps. Justin breaks through the line of scrimmage immediately, decapitating the running back in the backfield, causing the ball to pop out and fall into the play of field. Justin runs after the ball, trying to scoop and score because the clock had expired. The only chance Alabama had to win was for the ball to be ran back and scored for a touchdown. Justin picked up the ball off of the muddy field and started to run when all of a sudden, crunch! Someone from the Ohio State offence took out his legs. The ball comes out while Justin lays on the turf in pain. The crowd goes wild because Terrance Knox picked up the ball for the Crimson Tide and ran it back all the way for a touchdown. Alabama had won! Wanting to be happy and celebrate was Justin, who originally caused the fumble, but he was in too much pain to focus on anything but his leg. Out came the training staff of Alabama to assist Justin. A couple hours later Justin arrived at the hospital because he needed surgery on his broken femur he had suffered from the game. Two people would preform the surgery. Dr. Culp and Nurse Megan. To make the surgery less nasty, pretty much all Dr. Culp did was cut an incision in Justin’s thigh and put screws into his bone.
