Panera Bread is a company that provides a first-class area of expertise of bakery and café’ experiences to rural workers. Those who like a comfortable and relaxing setting to dwell. Panera Bread is known nationwide as a specialty bread provider. The company has delivered fresh authentic artisan bread, gourmet soups, fresh and healthy salads, and warm environment. Panera Bread wants to create different things from quick-casual restaurants, which provides only quick meal without quality of food, and it is successful.
Panera Bread strives to build a competitivve advantage based on the triple combination of prouct, environment and excellent service.

A “fast-casual” is a strategy whereby the restaurant provides the consumers an alternative they want which combined the advantage of fast food and casual dining. With that being said, Panera Bread restaurant provides a fast pace service with the best quality goods to their dedicated and potential customers with no significant obstacle.
By practicing this positioning strategy, it leads Panera Bread held flourished while the other restaurants were suffered losses in sales and profits during recession period.
