Why the Great Pyramid was made:

There are lots of reasons why the Great Pyramid was made. The Great Pyramid was made of honor of their kings and gods. As the Egyptians believed of the afterlife, they also made pyramids for tombs for the king which they put his treasures in the tomb to bring into the afterlife. The Great Pyramid was made so big because one the king wanted it to be and two because the kings thought if it was so tall that it would reach the god Ra in the sky.

How has the Great Pyramid changed over the years:

The Great Pyramid has changed over the years since it was first made because it has been damaged by people stealing the casing-stones and that’s why the pyramids look like stairs. In the past Egypt was big and colorful, the pyramids were covered with sandstones. The Pyramid has changed day by day since it was made because of the sand storms. Today pyramids are still here but nobody builds them anymore. The Great Pyramid has become the 7th wonder of the world.

Why I chose the Great Pyramid: I chose the Great Pyramid of Giza because the Eygptians are my favorite civilization. Also because it’s the 7th wonder of the world that’s still standing and a lot of tourists go there so it must be fun. I also was interested in the pyramid of Giza because there was lots of history behind of how the pyramids were made.

My Prediction:

In the future I predict that they’ll be buried with sand and that all the casing-stones would be stolen and that no one would care about the pyramids anymore.
