Abstract

This IP will be discussing Oatmeal and other food products that can reduce cholesterol. There are many of different food products that you can eat that will reduce your cholesterol. Some of the foods that can lower your cholesterol are dairy products. Some other foods that can lower your cholesterol are whole grains.

Foods that can lower your cholesterol

Introduction

Many of people know that when you eat oatmeal it can lower you cholesterol. But there are so many other foods that you can eat that will lower you cholesterol. “According to (Credo, 2013) whole milk products are high in saturated fat and cholesterol you should limit your intake.” So you can eat the low calorie dairy products and it would be fine for you to eat. There is also the whole grains food that you can eat to lower your cholesterol.

Market Force 1: The Dairy Product

Whole milk and the product that have milk in it is a really great source of protein, vitamins, and even minerals. Now if you start to drink skim milk instead of whole milk that can reduce you cholesterol. You can eat low fat products as well so you are not getting that much in high saturated fats. When shopping for dairy products you should get skim milk, 1% milk, fat free, reduced fat, low fat or part skim hard cheese. If you want to eat soft cheese then you should look for low fat (1%), nonfat cottage cheese, light- ricotta cheese. If you like to eat yogurt try low or nonfat yogurt. If you eat sour cream or cream cheese then try the low fat or nonfat sour cream or cream cheese. These are ways to lower you cholesterol.

Market Force 2: Oatmeal

Oatmeal is another great source to lower your cholesterol. Oatmeal is full of fiber that will get into you blood stream to reduce your cholesterol.
