I. Introduction
First of all, I grew up for part of my life without my father around. So, my boy-hood life was that of growing up hard. When my father was leaving out of my life as a nine year old boy, he pat me on the head and said, “You are the man of the house now, take care of the family.” Of course, I did not know what that meant, until I started working at age 11 and going to school at the same time. Which eventually began my life? My life very early was to make sure that my family, my four sisters and my mother where ok. It did not matter how or by what means. As long as I fulfilled my assignment of ‘The man of the house’. My mother helped to ensure that I lived that out and so, getting my first job at that age was understood in every sense of the word.
Who am I?
Now all of that started me off, by making me the person I am today. I love taking care of people both youth and senior alike. I feel as if (guilt, useless) I have no purpose when these areas are not met to the fullest. I can never be too busy for myself knowing that the next person who calls I am there. Why? Because I aim to please.
II. Important Personal Values about people
People and who they are
People are quite different from each other. There are times when you might find some people to have the same love for an individual, the same liking for an ice-cream, the same idea about a family member or subject etc. but we all are different in so many ways than one.
Evans (1977, p.144) gives a noticeable quote, saying that, “human beings are first of and foremost agents. Their lives do not merely consist of a string of happenings or events, but constitute a series of choices and decisions about what they will do.”
