Television is perceived as one of the greatest inventions of our century and is watched everyday by Americans, it is often criticized as one of the biggest destructions for children. Television has been praised throughout history for its ability to show us visual images with sound to entertain, educate, and to provide us with a sense of truth. Through television the public has witnessed many of the extraordinary historical events that no other form of communication has ever been able to do. Although television has captured such memorable, historical documentation, it also can be perceived as an cruel storyteller. Through the illustrations of TV, children have witnessed many disturbing things like murder, hate, prejudice, sexual abuse, as well as other forms of inappropriate actions, before they were even old enough to ride a bike. Here are three stories on NBC and Fox news that provided proof and accuracy of their stories.

With three people killed and more than twenty injured the Michigan City, Indiana I-94 crash has been a disaster. The crash occurred around 3 p.m. on Thursday afternoon near the Michigan City exit. Police say approximately 46 vehicles were involved, which 19 were semi-trucks. According to both NBC and Fox news claimed that conditions changed very quickly from clear to almost a whiteout at the time of the crash. Police said there was a sudden heavy lake-effect snow that took everyone by surprise. According to Fox news there was about 1 to 2 inches of snow coming down every hour. Fox news reporter on the scene Anita Pedella had a biased statement. She got our attention by starting their statement with the three people killed in the crash. She told us about the married couple and the man from Chicago. She then continued the story with actual close ups of the scene, and an eye witness. NBC did not have an actual reporter on the scene giving their thoughts about the accident but instead a sky view, and someone listening to the interviews. Both...
