It has been proven that when you play a sport of very young age, you learn to love it, and keep on playing throughout your youth, and even adulthood. My childhood was very exciting, but also a struggle to fit in with the people around me. It was in the late 90’s, when I was around ten years old in Fulton County, my father and uncles would always play soccer each weekend. They would always take me to all their games, at first I would just bored out of my mind and be ready to leave. As time passed I would be so eager to watch my uncles and dad play that I would wake up early and ready to watch them play. I, then started to play and kick da ball around with them when the games were over. Next thing I know I was in middle school, we had recently moved to a new location, Cobb County. I was devastated to have been forced to leave my friends and my close cousin. It was really hard for me to have start all over again and make new friends and fit in, eventually I did. Next thing I realize, I’m in high school with my friends from middle school joining the school soccer team.

Everything was just so easy and simply back when I was ten years old. My cousins lived three house down the street from me, so we would play outside almost every day. Every weekend my uncles and my day would play soccer at English park. My cousin, Junior and me would just watch them play on the side, bored. My dads’ team had a good squad with my uncles and some family friend. I remember they had a big rivalry with this other team that thought they were the best team in the league. It was till the day they faced each other that I saw how soccer was fun to watch and play. “That game was the best game I have ever seen in my life” I told

myself. After witnessing my fathers’ team win over those guy I wanted to play soccer and not only watch it. I asked my dad to train me to play soccer, so he did every week after his games. Junior and I would always kick the soccer ball around whenever we could. Even...
