My best experience with a salesperson was the first time I bought my own car. I’m sure most people remember the first time they bought a car. It was an experience that I will always remember because not only was it my first car, but it was a brand new car. I put down a deposit and also setup financing so that I could pay the amount of the whole car off over time. I felt comfortable in doing so because not only was the salesman a big help, but I was in the Marines and one of my NCOs (kind of like a boss) was with me. He had experience with purchasing cars before and had also purchased his most recent vehicle from the same person.

I have never had a bad experience with a salesperson before. Every time I have purchased something I knew what I was going to get before I went to get it. I graduated high school in 2005, so I was born into the Internet era. This makes it very easy to do research on something before you make a purchase. I also did some sales while I was in high school, so that has helped me in making decisions when purchasing things. The closest thing I have had to a bad experience with a sales person is when a telemarketer will call and offer something. I say that I am not interested and would like to be removed from their calling list. That telemarketer never calls back, but sometimes another employee from the same company will.

The excitement and joy of finally having something of my own was a great feeling, and that made me feel positive about my experience buying a car, as well as gave me confidence in my future auto purchases. As I said, I have never really had a bad sales experience. I used telemarketers as an example of something bad, so with that being said.
