Stan, after consulting with your employees I have determined that White Peak resort needs interconnected systems in order to stay competitive and increase profits. All of the work done in this business involves too much manual labor for your employees. This leads them not having enough time to concentrate on as many important problems. It also leaves customers less satisfied with the time consumed from the use of manual labor and less likely to return in the future. With the use of an information system that is connected to all the departments at White Peak resort it will cut down on manual work and allow decisions to be made in areas of needed improvements. These systems will provide all of the information recorded from past customers which will allow employees to know what a customer needs to be satisfied. White Peak resort needs to invest in one of these interconnected information systems, it will help with the following: Organization for the hotel, happier employees with less manual work, happier returning customers which leads to more customers, information at a touch of a button to help all employee’s needs, and a well run facility that will result in higher profits. There needs to be a database tied to all departments so information is readily available. Need a system to know when cleaning products are needed because the department overstocks for a good deal. Receipts need to be entered in a system daily to cut back on possible errors or forgetting a receipt.

This department needs an information database system to keep records of all monthly income statements , balance sheets. and expenses and needs to be tied into all departments. With all of the work being done manually this leave room for mistakes at any given time.

A proper data base could be used to store all of the department’s reservations to be an automated service....
