An analysis of potential competitors (both direct and indirect)

Direct potential competitors are multiple businesses offering a similar product or service. In saying that most modern Jock Dolly’s would wear a custom fitted Ralph Lauren shirt out to Kings cross to a nightclub, maybe take a girl out in the city or even a house party out in the Eastern Suburbs. The main point here is that a Jock wants to stand out, look flamboyant and have a somewhat sense of style. In recent times we’ve seen Jock’s wear brands like G-Star, Ben Sherman, Fred Perry, Lacoste, Tommy Hilfiger, and Industrie. All these brands come underneath as potential competitors. You take a look at all these brands and they are all high-end, expensive and internationally renowned. Jock Dolly’s want to express themselves through wearing flamboyant and exclusive brands; as a brand expresses one and the people they want to be like. All these brands/companies (G-Star, Ben Sherman, Henley’s and Lacoste), are vast types of brands that you’ll see in your typical Glue Store, Myers, David Jones etc.
