Kudler Fine Foods Frequent Shopper Program

Kudler Fine Foods has proven to know what gourmet cooks want, and as a result they have been successful enough to expand to two different locations. Kudler Find Foods has now decided to go a step further in offering an the Kudler Find Foods Frequent Shopper Program. In this paper we will discuss what this program is, the potential commerce aspects, and the legal, ethical and security considerations for developing this type of program.

The Frequent Shopper Program is meant to track purchase behavior at individual customer level and to provide high value incentives through partnership with a loyalty points program. Plainly stated, this program will track what our consumer shop for the most and provide rewards for those who shop frequently at Kudler Fine Foods. For these consumers price is not the primary differentiating factor; they are focused on quality and finding specialized items. By finding out what our customers shop for the most we at Kudler Fine Foods can refine our offerings to best satisfy our most loyal and valued customers. Whereas some lower end markets offer discount prices for their frequent shoppers, Kudler Fine Foods will provide their customers with points which can then be redeemed for high end gift items: airline first-class upgrades or other specialty foods.

Electric commerce is not the wave of the future, it is the now. Most companies have a website that allow their shopper to buy things from the privacy of their homes. Currently, Kudler Fine Foods does not have any type of e-commerce technology. The website only offers information about store locations, phone numbers, hours of operations and company departments e.g. Bakery, Produce; Meats & Seafood; and Wine.
