Monitoring Blackberry Services:

1. The UAE and Saudi Arabia governments wanted to monitor the information shared by blackberry users in their countries which started the problem with RIM

2. The decision taken by RIM won’t help sustain its customer base because most of their users are business men who rely on keeping all their information confidential. By agreeing to lift their confidentiality promise many would reconsider buying a blackberry Smartphone.

3. All messages are encrypted and processed at RIM’s network operations center which creates a barrier for hackers.

4. BlackBerry Protect is a program which can help you find your BlackBerry device and help protect your device's data if your device is ever lost or stolen. It includes features like the ability to view your device’s current location. Make your device ring, even if it's in silent mode. Also, display a custom message on your locked device to provide instructions about how to contact you. Set or change your device password and remotely lock your device. It even can delete all of the data from your device.

5. BlackBerry created a feature for businesses called BlackBerry Balance which gives an employee the freedom and privacy they want for their own personal use which maintaining the security and management they need for business use. Their personal information and work applications are kept separate and they can switch between the two world with a simple gesture. Of course the work space is encrypted and secured enabling the organization to keep their applications protected.

6. BlackBerry Enterprise Server is used when an organization requires a high level of IT control and is restricted to the organization which BlackBerry Enterprise Server Express allows remote device protection.
