Marketing strategy will promote an increase in revenue and will also provide a lasting relationship with the community. Chubby’s restaurant mission is to ensure that each customer receives professional, prompt and courteous customer service. Have a clean, safe, and maintained family environment for customers and staff. Also guarantee that all customers and staff are treated with respect. By maintain these objectives we will be allowed to contribute positively to the community we serve. The purpose of this marketing plan is to allow the family of Chubby’s restaurant to develop a strategic plan with realistic objective that will help the restaurant to become competitive in the marketplace. Also to establish attainable plans and assignments with achievable due dates for the family to complete. Chubby’s is a typical family style restaurant that puts their heart into customer service and quality of food that is a familiar place that reminds you of home. It’s a family owned and run establishment in a small town of 6,000 people and located off the main highway. They are widely known in the community and are often frequented by the locals, police officers, and truck drivers. They currently offer meals for lunch and dinner with an assortment of fresh baked pies.

Chubby’s current marketing plan consist of the chef and staff running the restaurant’s daily operations due to the owner’s health issues and death. So they are in need of leadership and a strong manager. The restaurant currently offers lunch and a dinner menu with their hours of operation being 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. They do have daily special and are famous for their homemade pie menu. The restaurant has menu items at the low to mid-range price points. The experienced chef has been a staple at the restaurant for over 25 years.
