I have learned a lot

The advertising media selection for the “Clean Smile” advertising campaign are online, social networking, public relations, trading cards, trade show, personal selling referrals, opening night, banner and newspaper. Online advertising will reach a large amount of people, including parents and children. Social networking will allow for a large audience of people to be reached in a short amount of time. Public relations will allow the community to look at the business with respect and pride knowing it cares for the community. Print media, including trading cards and newspaper, will create excitement with children, along with grabbing the attention of adults and spreading the word of the campaign. Trade shows will allow customers to see first hand what the business is all about. Personal selling referrals will get current customers involved. Opening night will generate attention and excitement in the community. An outdoor banner will draw attention from people passing by the business.

The schedules of advertising planned for the “Clean Smile” advertising campaign will include many different forms. Online games and child/parent appointment slots will be added to the Weiss Family Dentistry’s website. Posts about upcoming events and dental health will be posted to the Facebook page. Assemblies will be held at local elementary schools creating good public relations. Child’s trading cards will be handed out during the course of the campaign, along with newspaper advertisements in the local paper. Customers will be given a gift card for a local restaurant for bringing new customers. An opening night will be held for the community featuring food, music, and “TOOTHY” the mascot. An outdoor banner will be located out-front of Weiss Family Dentistry.
