Information systems are an integrated set of components for collecting, storing and processing data ad for delivering information, knowledge, and digital products. Businesses rely on information systems to carry out and manage their operations, interact with their customers and suppliers, and compete in the marketplace (Zwass, 2012). A lot of organizations are becoming more dependent on information systems to manage and maintain their internal organization infrastructures. In order to stay competitive in a changing world, information systems must constantly be updated. There are a lot of different types of information systems that help an Organization conduct their daily operations. Some of these typical operations are human resources, accounting, and sales. Some of these information systems have various roles for example human resources. It will assist in some of your duties, which may include recruiting and training. This is why is important to analyze business processes to determine how the information can support that process.

The business processes in my organization operate mainly from a functional perspective. Our business operation is a training system used to track training data within the Army units. This business system is design to for leader to be actively engaged in all training goal of the individual soldier. Within the Army stay physically fit is a major requirement to be a soldier. But also it the leaders responsibility to ensure that this goal is met with certain parameters. Before the establishments of this systems this statistics were tracked manually. It was very time consuming and with the enormous amount of training meeting you want this data to be accurate and clear from human error.
