Which is a better sport: Hockey or Football?

Hockey and American Football are the two most greatest sports ever invented.

Both demand that their players posses the combination of brute strength and finess. Both are

extremely fast, hard hitting, edge-of-your-seat, blink-and-you-missed it thrill ride. If both of these sports

though, went toe-to-toe, which one would be more victorious in comparing entertainment and

toughness? I think the answer is quite obvious. Hockey is without a doubt the better, more tough sport.

In football, most of the men playing are reletively large. They train not only in their sport, but in

their dieting aswell, to maintain proper weight for their position. These large men, have to get the football

to their opponent's side and score a goal, while all being pushed, slapped, chopped, thrown, tripped,

and anything else the defense can think of to either slow them down, or stop them completely. Lucky for

them, Football players wear all of these protection pads to cover their bodies from major injuries. These

pads being in such places as shoulders, chest/upper back, thighs, groin and shin. They are also required

to wear a protective helmet to protect their head from injuries such as skull fractures and concussions.

These helmets also have a face guard to help protect their nose and teeth. Linemen have to be

powerhouses, yet have the ability to stay light on their feet. Receivers have to possess physical strength,

speed, and the ability to hold onto the ball while doing a mid-air catch. Football requires endurance, the

ability to fight through pain, tremendous power, and grace. Hockey, on the other hand requires all that

and more. Imagine doing all of these things, having all of these physical attributes, and using them all on

ice instead of grass. You don't have comfy flexible shoes underneith your feet to help maintain...
