Nature of Business of Operations

Founded in 1942, Oxford Industries, INC. is an international apparel design, sourcing and marketing company featuring a diverse portfolio of owned lifestyle brands, consisting of Tommy Bahama, Lilly Pulitzer and Ben Sherman. They also carry licensed brand of tailored clothing and golf apparel. Their branded and private label tailored clothing products are distributed through department stores, specialty stores, national chain, specialty catalogs and internet retailers. The firm also produces designer men's clothing under license from Dockers, Geoffrey Beene, and Kenneth Cole. Its customers include national and regional specialty stores, direct retailers, and department stores. Macy's, Nordstrom, and Debenhams are some of Oxford's biggest customers.

The headquarters is located in Atlanta, Georgia. The analysis that we will undertake will be based on the following points, an evaluation of the company financial performance for the last three years, an evaluation of the company’s stock performance for the last one year and finally we will provide a recommendation with supporting evidence to see if the public traded company is worth to be bought or not.
