Part A:

My feeling regarding the group is that group lacks communication skills which are the main reason as to why the group cannot attain their goals. If we look individually all members of the group has something to contribute to the project and hence the need to fire them or even take them out of the account is not necessary. Arnold has a navy background which shows that he has the discipline and training to lead the group. But he needs to come to an understanding about the changes in the world and need to implement these changes in his leadership. Garth was brought up in a private school and hence he has a very disdainful manner, if we can change his way of thinking and set some rules with him we can use his skills and make it advantageous to the group. Its not necessary that when a person being brought up in a private school wants to work individually we can make him understand the benefits of working in a team and help or give him training to develop skills that will help him. Linda is young and she is the only female she might feel both left out from the group or she is not recognised for her talents and is not given too many jobs that don’t require her attention. Because of the above reasons she might feel angry and she is trying to get attention. We can help her by talking to her personally, finding out what the issues are and develop solutions that will help her. Finally Aaron, though he brought the group this account he is not given the credit because he not technically sound. And he needs to stand up and earn that respect so he needs to develop more interpersonal skills that is needed to handle the group. Because he is the go in between man between client and group he needs to understand the group so that he can provide the client the satisfaction of the complete project.
