SUBJECT: International Expansion

Good afternoon sir. This memorandum has been called to your attention in order to shed light on the possibility of prosperity that awaits SolarSavvy Inc. with international expansion. Although you are well aware of what our company is about, I would like to reiterate what SolarSavvy Inc. is as a company. SolarSavvy Inc. began back in 2005 in Orlando, Florida with one determined man, Michael Heinzburger, in the driver’s seat. His ultimate goal was simple: to provide solar power equipment to energy-conscious Americans. Although this idea becomes more and more promising as environmental awareness increases among the general public, there is still a relatively small portion of Americans that would be willing to completely convert to solar energy. Because of this, he shifted his attention to businesses. Heinzburger believed that businesses were the “bigger fish to fry” in regards to the non-renewable energy consumption topic. After years of hard work, Heinzburger built what SolarSavvy Inc. is today: a leader in commercial solar power solutions. With this amazing growth since 2005, this leads me to my proposal of international expansion. Although our company has a long way to go before we scratch the surface of American businesses, I believe I have formulated a keen marketing tactic that would not only benefit us, but also the lives of countless less fortunate individuals. What I am talking about is expanding our operations to mainly impoverished countries stricken by drought, famine, and political corruption. Countless people in countries such as Burma, Libya, Somalia, and Sudan are very unfortunate when it comes to the things we take for granted here in America, one of the most important being electricity. I believe these types of countries would be an enormous opportunity for SolarSavvy because if there’s one thing they all have plenty of, it’s sunlight....
