Club IT, Part 2

The objective of this paper is to evaluate the IT status of Club IT’s business using the information gathered from the review of the website and interviews with club owner Ruben and his staff. The contents included will be identifying three business problems and evaluating the resources, customers, and the supply chain of the club. Also, given will be a description of three IT solutions to resolve the business problems; while incorporating ERP, CRM, and SCM. Finally, a discussion of how the various departments within Club IT and what solutions to use, will be suggested to help have a more efficient business.

Rueben Keys and Lisa Tejada are managers of a downtown music venue called Club IT. Over the last few months while interning, I have acknowledged an excessive amount of business information and detected opportunities for the improvement of Club IT and its technology capabilities (About Club IT, n.d.). Also, during this time, I realized Club IT has numerous problems within their business which I will be addressing further.

Evaluating Club IT, presently I see three business problems. These problems are listed as follows: not taking advantage of purchasing through their online shop; order processing, as it will eliminate time and specify more accuracy and not utilizing their technical knowledge by using the mobile technology. This concept will attract more customers in the net generation and millennial.

Club IT has a variety of resources to offer their customers. These resources include live music, DJ’s, dance space and refreshments that suit everyone’s lifestyle. (About Club IT, n.d.) Club IT has a variety of music ranging from hip-hop, techno, electronic, MP3, live music and high ceilings with high energy lighting which gives an appearance of boisterousness and liveliness that will attract a diversity of people with different age groups.
