Distinguish between the historical aspect of salvation (salvation accomplished) and the applied aspect of salvation (salvation applied).
Historical aspect: work of Christ on the cross in saving man from sin, justification, redemption by blood, reconciliation of man to God, the propiation of God’s wrath, the fulfilling of the law and the forgiveness of sin
Applied aspect/present section: in on the saving work of Christ in the life of the believer, sanctification, evangelism, regeneration, sanctification and discipleship
