Discuss whether there are differences between a centralized and a decentralized model of correctional institution management.

There are differences between a centralized and decentralized model of correctional institution management. First I am going to describe what they mean. “Centralized organizational structures rely on one individual to make decisions and provide direction for the company” (Vitez). “Decentralized organizational structures often have several individuals responsible for making business decisions and running the business” (Vitez). There must be a better importance on options to imprisonment if administrations want to reduce incarceration residents. Prior to applying replacements, on the other hand reasoned must be provided to consuming a more decentralized administration arrangement. Even though there is nothing between consuming a general centralized method at the top, the lower levels of the organization would be decentralized to have the funds for managers and central bosses the chance to promote originality and free enterprise in assistants. The corrections organization can remain prepared beneath one Manager who is accountable for all procedures beneath his or her purview. These components would contain of purposes such as probation and parole, work release/penalties/public service, organizations, managements, and the Examiner General.
