INTRODUCTION

OPENER: FOR A LONG TIME SMOKING HAS BEEN A VERY COMMON HABIT AMONG AL AGE GROUPS, MOST PREVALENT AMONG YOUNGSTERS . IT WAS PROVEN THAT IT HAS SERIOUS FATAL OUTCOME. TODAY WE ARE TO GO THOUGH SOME AND HOPEFULLY BY THE END OF THE PRESENTATION YOU WOULD THINK TWICE BEFORE SMOKING

STATEMENT OF SPECIFIC PURPOSE :

Today I hope I will be able to convince you to never smoke or to stop smoking . Also make you aware of the many negative affects it can have on you and the people around you

I. effects of smoking on your money

A- Smoking cigarrets is a very expensive hobby , the avarage price for a box of cigaretts in the UAE is 5.67 DHS that's about 650 DHS a years if you are smoking at the most 5 cigarettes a day

B- Not only the cost of cigarettes will pile up but most likely medical bill will follow because smoking can cause so many cancers and disease you might end up havig to add in the cost of the medication bills it took or still takes to fix you back

TRANSITION: smoking won't only take a large toll on your wallet but in your body as well , cigarrets have about 4800 chemicals and 69 of it can caus cancer.

· effects on the brain , smoking is the major causes of the cancer in mouth and throat , it has a lot of other effects as well such as problems in eating , sallowing , unable to taste food in mouth , bas breath , stained teeth and the risk periodontal disease

· effects on eyes : A- smoking causes unchangeble damage to the eye

B- there's a high risk of it leading to blindness

· effects on the lungs : A- the more yo smoke the higher risk you have of dying from lung cancer...
