In a company there are many things to consider in order having a successful business. You must have a team of good managers to make sure that goals are being made with employees. Managers must report the progress either monthly or quarterly depending on the job or job size. Once, the managers have come up with the numbers they would present this to a higher member in the company, and then it continues to move the ladder, eventually shared with the stakeholder/investors. In this essay we will discuss how the mining group gold process will improve team work, empowerment, and effective communication.
We all know that when taking on a big task it requires teamwork with the management and its employees. Getting both to work together is the best way to improve production and meeting monthly goals. In order to run a well-organized staff, a manager must call a meeting with the employees to go over the task ahead and projected goals they are expecting. The five basic steps for the management team to follow is the Mining Group Gold method developed by Tom Kayser. ‘The Mining Group Gold process is a team process and meeting management process whose sole purpose is to leverage the combined wisdom, experience, and ideas of everyone on the team in order to cash in on this wisdom to improve the overall meeting process and to improve the decisions of the organizational unit.” (University, DeVry. lecture(n.d.) Once a meeting is called the management team will assign roles to different team members to help overlook the progress, or address any concerns along the way, reporting it to management.
