Inequality in the World

Abstract

I will be talking about how Women’s history mouth and how the society are both unequal.

“Why Society Is More Unequal Than Ever”

The article mainly stated that we should be more of a communist country, were everyone can be the same. It talks a lot about the income gap between the rich and poor, and how they believe there should not be a gap. Also, because of the gap they claim that drug abuse and alcoholism is only at the bottom of the social latter. They also said, “Obesity, loss of community life, imprisonment, unequal opportunities and poor wellbeing for children.” But, if you think about it they also happen to rich people. So for them to say that’s only at the bottom of our social class doesn’t add up for me.

“Why Women’s History Mouth”

As you can kind of get an idea about this article is was about women getting time for children to really see and understand the struggles women have gone through in this country to finally get a voice and somewhat become equal. Over the years women have put up one heck of a fight to be equal. The article stated, “In February 1980, President Jimmy Carter issued the first President Proclamation, declaring the week of March 8th 1980 as National Women’s History Week.”After this people were very passionate about this week so finally, in 1987 they changed it to the whole mouth. As this would change something for women, which it did but also didn’t. Many male historians didn’t believe that the women’s movement didn’t belong in the teachings of the 1960s.

How they tie together

Both of these articles tie together by some way or another about inequity in our country. Yes one is about money and the other women. But, does it really matter what the inequality is over its still bad depending on your beliefs. Like women’s inequality is horrible in my opinion that is took us some many years just to be equal to men. On the other hand about money I believe if you work harder then someone you deserve to make more money...
