Influential Organizations

External environment tries to help an organization to get opportunities and threats that will affect the (Voiculet, 2010) organization’s competitive situation. As a result, organizations be required to formulate appropriate strategies to take advantage of the opportunities while overcome the threats in order to achieve their strategic goals. The external environment (Voiculet, 2010) involves of variables that are outside the organization and not typically within the short-run control of top management. The changes in the external (Voiculet, 2010) environment impact your efficiency and effectiveness in the organization.

The healthcare environment, (Kohn, 2000) is a region that includes organizations that plan and regulate primary and secondary providers. External environment can be employed to encourage actions by health professionals and health care organizations. It is hoped that actions in the external environment will (Kohn, 2000) lead to implementation of a specific set of actions within health care organizations. Although some health care organizations are implementing the recommended actions from the external environment, (Kohn, 2000) the external environment can motivate a broader response. Although empirical evidence is deficient, (Kohn, 2000) studies suggest worker attitudes, job satisfaction, and employee health and well-being are related to work performance; productivity; and ultimately, the quality of health care services.

Any organization is an open system between itself and its external environment up to a series of relationships that (Root, 2014) influence each other.
