* Single supplier issue that leaves open to too many risks

* Distance between engineering and production department with collaboration

* Need metrics to be capable to evaluate the quality of the different products Dynamic Aircraft is interested in

* Continuous frustration from engineers and production

* Improve the loop holes that are in the way between the engineering and manufacturing teams

* Create new standards for the criteria of acceptable quality

* Keep other suppliers involved so you can have additional suppliers for material which will reduce the risk of the single-source issue.

The biggest issue I see here with this case is the fact that The Dynamic Aircraft Company does not have established quality standards. The only standard that was said was that of the military specifications that must be met. All the potential suppliers had met those specifications. The first recommendation I have for The Dynamic Aircraft Company is to come up with a chart to evaluate their suppliers. On the chart, they need to weigh each category to point out the most important factors. Having a chart could help point out the KPI’s and overall make the selection process a lot easier.
