1. What are your passions that answer a need in the world? What are your calls to leadership – if you feel called to do something? (Talk about it in more detail. What do you feel when you exercise your passion or call? How is it good for you? How is it good for others?

On my last application paper, I had mentioned that there are about three passions in my life. These are the things that I would do for free, with my whole effort and without complaints. First, I have a passion for travelling. To me, travelling means going somewhere or anywhere that is familiar or unfamiliar, with several purposes. These include meeting new and amazing people, learning new things, experiencing the local culture and to relax. It does not matter whether it is a day or a month, or even a year. When I travel, I feel free. For me, every travel or journey, with or without a companion, serves as a soul-searching trip. It is only though it that I have a time for self-reflection on the current status of my life and it helps on opening my mind to new things. My second passion is earning money or to put it in better terms, it is to have my own business. I do not like the feeling of being tied to an employment. To give a short background, I grew up in a Chinese community where anyone or almost everyone that I know of, have their own family business. My family do not have one that as prosperous as the others that I could just claim it as my own. Hence, there has always been a desire to set up one. However, I can only put this in pending status. I cannot answer into it wholly. At least not right now, while I have mortgage loans to pay and a MBA program to finish. As a start-up business, I have already started joining bazaars last year and was successful. I will continuing to join bazaars and reinvest whatever proceeds I have to the same business.
