Abstract
Apple is a company that has exceeded many peoples and even other companies’ expectations not only with their products and services but also because of the impact it has on their workers as well as local communities. Apple provides a safe work environment while providing their employees with a comfortable and respectful environment and at the same time being environmentally conscious with its products and manufacturing. They are concerned with empowering their employees by offering them continuous training and educational opportunities making their hours flexible enough for them to achieve a college degree.
Being ethical and social responsible does not only mean being sustainable and listening to your employees, but it is much more than that. It means looking out after your customers, suppliers, communities and workers all at the same time. And Apple, a worldwide company brings that to the table and much more.
Apple’s current position on the company’s ethical and social responsibilities, and determine whether or not the company has met these responsibilities. Provide two (2) examples that support your position.
Apple is a company that employs millions of people and affects many countries with their products and services making its impact on these communities very important. Due to the fact that they employ people from various countries it is essential that Apple supervise ethical practices anywhere they reside especially when it comes to their suppliers.
This means that Apple strives to do business with companies who will take in consideration being fair and ethical to their workers as well as making sure these workers are not underage or work excessive hours no matter if their countries work practices allows them to act unethically....
