Big Cities vs. Small Towns: The Ultimate Choice

Although large cities provide many activities such as a variety of restaurants, entertainment venues, and more cultural diversity, they do not compare to small towns. Big cities might have some advantages, but smaller sized cities allows for more. Smaller cities give you the opportunity to be more in tune with nature. Small cities also have fewer people living in them; ergo, there is less traffic, more living space, and a better quality of life.

In bigger cities nature is overlooked or is destroyed completely. Bigger cities impinge nature because they get rid of the green space to build their ornate buildings and factories. With big cities comes more factories and cars, as a result you get way more traffic and high pollution levels. Pollution is a negative side effect of larger cities that interferes with nature. Smaller cities alleviate the problems with nature because fewer people live there and they do not have to get rid of the green space to build more housing and/or factories. Smaller cities also do not have that many factories or cars; therefore they have less pollution that harms nature and the environment.

Larger cities and more people go hand and hand; you cannot have one without the other. People that live in large cities have to deal with waiting hours and hours on end in traffic, which is a result of the cities having a larger population. Larger cities also come with less living space, so you have to live closer to other people and most of the time you do not have any square miles/acres. A big disadvantage of more people in the cities is the longer lines at restaurants and other attractions, which takes away from your schedule. Bigger cities have more tourists and you can get lost in the crowds. The people that live in these larger cities do not get to know every one that lives in the city like the people in smaller cities do. Without these...
