How do you feel about your son or daughter learning about sex in a school class and not getting the information from you? I know by experience that Sex education is a very good aspect in life to understand but it has been a big issue for some parents. Parents feel they should teach their child about sex not schools and the parents also feel they have no control over what the schools have decided to teach their children. Students need sex ed. classes because they need to understand the subject of sex because in reality they will be exposed to it in one way or another, students also need to learn the consequences that come with the action and all lot of the time parents don’t have the sex talk with their children sex education classes have been an issue for a while now because parents believe children know too much about the subject and have no control on what is being taught, but most parents don't have the sex talk with thier child so how could students know to much the more the marrier right, also students need to understand the subject because they will be exposed to it one way or another and of course students need to know the real life consequences that come with these actions parents want to be the one to help their child get through life but some don't know how to talk them through it. Reeds assay says "we recently gave all ninth grade parents a letter talking about the sex education program only one parent in the ninth grade requested that their child not be taught" all the others had no problem because most replies have the response like thank you because I don't know how to teach them to be protected. Classes give the information that children want to get from their parents but don't because they are too embarrassed to discuss sex with their child.
