My Christian Worldview

Is your life defined by your worldview; is it a worldview you chose because it is morally right or because it is what makes you feel good? My personal worldview is what defines me, what I strive for and leads me to walk down the right paths. When speaking of my Christian worldview there are three aspects that come to mind; they are God, Knowledge and Ethics, because they shape my thoughts, experiences, education and life decisions.

God created everything, God gives me what I need, God's word in the bible instructs me on how to live my daily life. I am uncertain of where my faith came from, but it has been instilled in my heart and once I accepted Jesus as my Savior I realized that all of my needs were met. Everything I need is provided for me even though in my flesh I seem to want more. It is the way I live my life according to the bible that I have learned gives me the most fulfillment, but because I am human it can be a test to live by. My education on God has been no more than sporadic Sunday attendance for years. The life decisions I made without God in my everyday life were not easy and at times I wondered what I was doing wrong. It wasn't until I was married and started attending church on a regular basis I knew what I needed. It was never feeling like a part of the body of a large church we attended that gave me more of a longing, and our attendance became sporadic again. In the last year and a half we have moved to a smaller town and found a great little church where we feel more at home. It is here I have learned that building Christ like friendships and being part of life groups has helped my faith in the lord prosper and therefore my life has started to reflect that.

Knowledge is relevant, what I have learned is God needs to come first. Being knowledgeable of the right things is what matters most, having knowledge of Jesus and what he has done for us is the best knowledge we could ever have. In that knowledge...
