PrimeCare urgent care facility is a for profit subsidiary of the Norvant Medical Group. This practice specializes in providing same day medical care as efficiently as a hospital emergency room facility but on a smaller scale. They offer acute-care services for those individuals with minor medical needs that do not have a primary care physician, can not get an appointment with their primary care physician, or do not wish to wait for hours in an hospital emergency room. Although this is an urgent care facility they offer a myriad of other services. For example, PrimeCare offers occupational health services such as preemployment drug screenings and physicals, care for accidents and injuries as well as a host of other on the job related ailments. The provide family medicine to patients of all ages ranging from newborns to the elderly. This facility does sports and school physicals and has an on sight laboratory. The on sight laboratory affords them the opportunity to provide STD screenings, pregnancy test, and other reproductive health examinations. Along with all of the other medical offerings they have their own x-ray machines as well as other primary care incentives such as occupational physical therapy EKG, and CAT SCAN capabilities. PrimeCare also takes medicaid, medicare, and most private insurance.

There is much for PrimeCare to consider and take into account when making pricing and servicing decisions. One major thing to consider is the socioeconomic status of the demographic they serve.
