1) Why are social systems more complex than physical systems?

It is important to notice that human behavior changes in each and every human interaction due to the uniqueness of individuals’ behavior. An example will clarify the statement. If we drop a stone over and over, from the standpoint of physical sciences, we will get the same result (which is rather accurately calculable); However, when we are dealing with humans, they have a different reaction to the same action, which they might face several times (to understand each reaction, we must to pay attention to the context).

Social systems are more complex than physical systems because there are more variables involved in social systems. These variables includes, relationships among people, size of the organization, income distribution, and concurrency of those relationships, which makes it more difficult to study and understand those variables. Anything done under social systems would produce different results every time you do it. The variables of a physical system are more homogenous and the result of doing something under such system is always the same, which is in contrast to social systems.

Two people often act very differently in the same situation, and the same person’s behavior changes in different situations.

2) Why is it a good idea to create a good work environment?

In fact, the happier the employees are, the more productive they become; so it is good to be nice to them generally. The good working environment makes the business more profitable and contributes to the leadership’s vision. It could also be said that if everyone makes money in the organization, the organization itself makes money as well.

It is surveyed that social relationships among co-workers and supervisors are strongly related to overall job-satisfaction. Positive social relationships were associated with lower stress at work and lower intentions to quit. Managers with...
