INTRODUCTION
Employees are a crucial resource an organization needs to achieve a competitive edge , and the importance of training employees is a major influence on the success of an organization. Training is designed to improve competence and ability of an individual so as to better and enable an organization to meet up with its aims, objectives and goals. This study is focused on the effect of training and development on employee's performance. The literature review, consists of the impact of training, the relationship between training and human resources and also the benefit of training on employee in an organization .Different types of methodologies are also discussed including the one suitable for this assignment.
The quality of employees and their development can be achieved through training and it is no news that it is a major factor which determines the long term profitability of a business so therefore there is need for continual staff development process. Training is an integral slice of total quality management which can't be ignored.
LITERATURE REVIEW
Literature review is not only aimed at examining the positions of several authorities but it also as to do with comparing developments and results being witnessed.
Various researches used in this literature review , stands as evidence that training and development assist companies in lots of ways ranging from increase in productivity and profit, generating low employee turnover, motivating employees thereby enhancing their performance, personal motivation and boast in employees confident.
IMPACT OF TRAINING
