Sprint Corporation is also known widely as Sprint which in the beginning was called Brown Telephone Company. Sprint is the third largest wireless network providers in the U.S and also a major global internet provider. Sprint was founded in 1899 by Cleyson and Jocob Brown which in the beginning they were only providing telephone service to Abilene, Kansas.Sprint didn’t change its name to Sprint Corporation until 1992. Sprint currently serves about 53.6 million customers now today in 2014. Sprints headquarters is located in Overland Park in Kansas. In July of 2013 more than half of the company was purchased by Japanese telecommunications company SoftBank Corporation.(Wikipedia)
