How Mobile Technology Is Changing Our Way Of Living

What is mobile technology? As the name implies, mobile technology is a technology that is design to be carried around. Examples of mobile technology include Mobile phones, Tablets, Personal Device Assistant and Laptops. Mobile technology helps us do most things faster and more effortless, therefore, there is no doubt that mobile technology is increasingly becoming a very important part of peoples’ lives. To some people, the mobile phone is nothing more than just a phone, but to others, the small device brings the world to their hands. Due to mobile technology becoming an important part of peoples’ lives, it is altering how people live. Furthermore, most people do not even realize that mobile technology is changing their lives (Luce). It is increasingly becoming more common for people to use mobile phones and other mobile technology in social situations because nowadays most people prefer to own a mobile phone than landline phone (Pinchot et al. 1). As a result, we can safely say that mobile technology is heavily influencing the way humans are living, both positively and negatively. The question is how mobile technology is changing our way of living? In this essay, I will attempt to further explain how mobile technology is changing our way of living, both positively and negatively.

Mobile technology is quickly becoming one of the most rapidly developing technologies. Mobile technology has helped human life regarding comfort, adaptability and connectedness. Mobile technology also permits individuals to be called anytime and anywhere (Battard 4). Mobile technology helps humans communicate with each other easier. Personally, mobile technology has helped me a lot. Being an international student studying in the United States, I am separated from my family who live in Indonesia.
