"Man always want to be a woman's first love - woman like to be a man's last romance"

It's Oscar Wilde's quotation. Fisrtly, I want to ask my audience's opinion about the quotation. Then I want to touch on the word 'romance'. Why did Oscar wilde choose this word while he used the word 'love' for woman? After all I mention about Wilde.

We all know something about Oscar Wilde, I don't want to say that he was born in Dublin bla bla... I just wan to tell someting about his personal life. His life's critical moment started with London when he moved his new house in 1884. His marriage, his masterpieces (A Women of No Importance that includes this quotation), his sensational love, his courts and his fall... all of these are experienced in this house until he was charged with his homosexual relationship. When he was a teenager, he was so successful in his education but he was different also. In this era, boys wore only black suits with no vanity however Wilde wore colorful suits and he used a lot of rings. So, he was critisized with his appearence. But this was just beginning. I want to mention about the Great Case. Wilde was married with a woman and had two son.Two years later, he met Lord Alfred who is named really beautiful boy. He and Alfred had a homosexual relationship. Unfortunately, homosexualty was forbidden in this era.( Victorian Era, homosexualty was more capital crime from murder.) So Wilde standed trail even upon Alfred's father request. Although Wilde's friends and even his wife said him to escape, he refused and fighted with laws. His geniuos speakings were famaous in the court and he was applouded by jury many times. Sadly, he lost the case and was sent to prison. When he left from prison, he was unrecognizable. He lost weight so much and he was sick. Wilde lived 5 years with a new name in Europe. One day, he was found as a dead in a hotle room. Supposedly, there was a sentence on the wall of room: One of us should go.
