Mysterious House

Arriving at a very late hour we did not know, we stood in front of a two storey building that was said to be haunted. It was in a lonely dwelling location, far from neighbors as if for mutual comfort. It was flanked on both sides by tall, slender bamboo trees that hustled plaintively under a gentle wind. Out of curiosity, we want to explore what was inside. Turning the rusty knob, to our dismay, it was locked. We tried to find a way to get inside but we only came up with the idea of destroying the knob. Finally, we made our steps in. with our flashlights and lamps on, we saw how lonely the house was, full of dust and hanging spider webs. Led by one of bravest friend, we started roaming around the first floor. Suddenly, one of our friends noticed a hidden stairs. We then began to step on the stairs. The stairs creaked under our weight as the stairs is leading us on the second floor. The stairs we can infer is twice as old as the door that was still firm. When we were already at the second floor, we noticed something that catches our attention, a frame with a vague picture on it. We went closer and peered closely. Later discovered that it was a black and white picture of a girl with a timorous face, with an austere brow, small lips describes her innocence. There were already doubts in our minds. We continued to roam around not knowing that one of our friends stood still with the picture. Suddenly, something tickles his feet that made him threw the picture. We all turned back to see what’s happening then he told us. We looked closer to his feet to know what was it then later it was only a cockroach. I started to pick the scattered picture frame on the floor. I was surprised to see a piece of paper attached at the back of the picture, with excitement; we began unfolding it to read what was written.
