synch as they gather their information at different times and from different sources. 4. After comparing the media coverage from the three following sites (www.cnn.com, www.npr.org, and www.nytimes.com) I would have to say no - all three sites did not emphasize the same thing. In
some form or fashion each topic was covered but each site has their own opinion and highlighted the topics in a different light. and The New York Times had the same topics listed but not necessarily as a “Top Story” listing at the time of my research. For instance, CNN and The New York Times both cited President George W. Bush as stating “The men and women who serve in our allvolunteer armed forces are plenty smart and are serving because they are patriots – and Senator Kerry owes them an apology.” Both CNN and The New York Times also cited Senator John Kerry as stating, “If anyone thinks a veteran would criticize the more than...
