PREFACE

In the name of Allah, the most gracious and the most merciful.

This paper is concern with the chronology and major events during the rise of nationalism in Europe by the end of 19th century. These events are mostly political causes and have been important factors in the development of Europe.

Basically, this paper is divided into three major parts. The first part is the introductory parts that consist of two sub part which are the preface and introduction. Preface talks about how this paper is divided and for the introduction, some matters will be discussed so that little knowledge will be gained about the background of nationalism.

The second part discussed thoroughly on the topic which contains the definition, timeline, the struggle for independence, and nationalism growth and export. This part is the major concern of the paper.

Lastly is the conclusion and references part. This part will sum up the whole paper and gives credit to respective writers and editors. The aim of this paper is to make sure the idea of nationalism is well comprehended. This is due to the fact that nationalism plays a role for the establishment of modern Europe and the whole nations.
