Dimensions of Individual Behavioral Styles

"Talent wins games, but teamwork and intelligence wins championships." (Jordan, n.d.).

To be a great team player everyone needs to review themselves and search deep down to see what kind of qualities they have to contribute to the entire team. A great way to identify this is to take the Disc Platinum Rule Assessment. Each team member completed the assessment, reviewed the results, and then discussed their specific behavioral style along with the strengths and weaknesses observed.

After completing the DISC Platinum Rule Assessment, each team member gave a verbal summary of their individual predominate behavioral style. The results were Patrick, Janan, and Kendra having the interactive style as to where Jim and Cayla having the dominance style. Janan described her style as having a passion to win, but not at another’s expense. Working in a team is one of her predominate behavioral style qualities that she obtains. Perfecting her work and encouraging others to do so as well is a very positive quality that Mrs. Simpson realized in the result. With Patrick having the same interactive style as Janan, he realized he does well among other people and gets along with everybody. While getting along with all types of people, he tends to build relationships with those around him rather than just completing a task. Kendra had the same assessment result of Janan and Patrick, interactive style, but noticed a few different points on her results. She found out that she is task orientated and in the end sincerely cares what others think of her work. Her main focus is to always win at what she is involved in with no exceptions at all.
