REVIEW OF COMPANY POLICY FOR EMAIL AND TEXT MESSAGING

Attention Staff,

The company has now decided to review the email and text messaging policy for policy and determined the criteria of what is acceptable. The policies and procedure that were agreed upon were put in place to protect you as employees as well as the company. The key points are as follow:

* KEEP EMAILS AND TEXTING JOB RELATED AT ALL TIMES. We expect that all electronic communication be for business only. This does include company issued devices that can be taken home as well. As reminder any and everything of pertaining of the company will be monitored through the IT department.

* AVOID OPENING SPAM AND UNKOWN SENDERS. To protect the devices and system within the network, if you don’t know whom you are receiving the mail from do not open the mail to view its content. We have firewalls setup within the system, but you are the last defense against security breaches.

* BE PROFESSIONAL AT ALL TIMES. Messages should always be sent with respect to the recipient. Any acts of aggression or disrespect will be treated as such. These can be context such as vulgar language, sexual nature, or anything that could reflect the company in negative way. Any text or email sent with a negative intent will put the sender up for disciplinary actions.

Please keep in mind that this is just an addition to the company PRIVACY HANDBOOK that was issued prior employment. If you need another PRIVACY HANDBOOK, contact the Human Resources Department for another copy. If you have any questions, contact me by replying to this message. Thank you,
