When thinking back on the last 23 years I have had many events and experiences some good and bad, however, if I had to choose an event that changed basically who I am I would have to choose the day I had each of my children. My oldest child Morgan, is almost 6 years old and when I discovered I was pregnant with her I was still a junior in high school. Her dad and I hadn’t been together but maybe a year and even though we were both still in high school and had our whole lives ahead of us we decided to become parents, and it was the best decision we ever made. Having our daughter made me realize that life is important and to live it while you can. A couple of years later we had our son who is almost 3 now, and that day was another memorable day as well, and last is our newest son who was just born a couple of months ago. Having 3 kids can be rough and frustrating but I enjoy the time that I get to spend with them because they are not going to be little for long. My personality before I had my children was horrible I was a little on the wild side of not doing homework, skipping class, and partying. I was enjoying life maybe a little too much. My world became so much different after each of my kids were born instead of out partying with friends I am at home watching a movie with my husband and kids. I really don’t think that my personality has been influenced by either environmental or genetic because I don’t agree with people telling me how to raise my children. They are my kids and I will raise them how I see fit.
