Maize, as one of the grains, is the largest part of the livestock feed industry. Data shows that, the world has about 65 % of the corn used for feed , up to 80% in developed countries. Corn is the foundation of the development of animal husbandry, and the use of corn processing equipment has largely facilitated animal husbandry development.

Studies have reported that the nutritional value and digestibility of corn were higher than barley , oats and sorghum , especially high- quality protein maize that lysine corn , including livestock that can take advantage of the higher lysine and tryptophan , is extremely excellent fodder crops.
