In the past three days of experiencing food intake, have changed many of my habit. I have learned how important is to maintain the food we are eating daily basis and how it may hurts us. According to the “World Health Organization, nutrition is the intake of food, considered in relation to the body’s dietary needs. Good nutrition is an adequate, well balanced diet combined with regular physical activity is a cornerstone of good health. Poor nutrition can lead to reduced immunity, increased susceptibility to disease, impaired physical and mental development, and reduced productivity. (World Health Organization, 2012) ” It is extremely important that we follow the healthy diet, so we may live longer than expected. Consuming the unhealthy foods or do not eat right amount enough can illuminate the body of the important nutrients because it requires to function at full gear. There are numerous benefits of high-quality diet. ”Medical Online” states “besides helping you maintain a healthy weight, good nutrition is essential for the body and all its system to function optimally for a lifetime.” A healthy diet provides excellent sleep, power the body what it requires to maintain healthy functioning body, and exhaust power. According to Mealtime Memo, “Good nutrition means getting the calories that we need for energy and the nutrients we need for proper growth.” According to my personal doctor, maintaining a healthy diet can help boost the immune system, improve concentration, increase energy, maintain a healthy weight, and slow down the effects of aging.
